9 Reasons Why Facebook Is Ruining Our Lives …All Women Stalk

Standard

Once again Jackie Jardine at @AllWomenStalk (twitter) has it spot-on! One of the biggest and most irritating items on the list is #6 “Proper Grammar, Spelling, and Punctuation Rules Need Not Apply”!

As a Granny of 6 under the age of 8 and married to a grade school teacher this, amongst all the other items on this list, drives me the craziest. I constantly text their parents and talk to the kids on the phone to remind them to READ!

I actually pay the older ones to read to the little ones and pay the little ones to listen and read along. That’s how critical I feel about reading… Am I crazy?

I love, love, love their new app on my phone! Check it out at All Women Stalk!

  1. An impressive share, I just given this onto a colleague who was doing somewhat analysis on this. And he in truth bought me breakfast given that I discovered it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and adore reading far more on this topic. If probable, as you turn out to be expertise, would you mind updating your blog with additional details? It’s highly beneficial for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!

    • Oh yes, and as to facebook – I have an account but stopped using it as I just couldn’t cope with the amount of drivel written on it – I really don’t care if somebody is off down the supermarket or the dentist or whether the chintz is fading, or the supermarket has run out of soap powder. 😉

    • I so agree! Social Media and computers have taken that away. I have 1 grandson who is almost 7 years old and he is a master gamer. Hard to get him to read! Then I have another grandson who is 6 months older and he’s actually skipping from the 1st grade to the 3rd..? He’s my reader…

What do you think?
